About the Role:

Barcaldine Regional Council are on the lookout for a hardworking and motivated individual to join the Town Services team in Muttaburra as a labourer!
Preferably you must have good construction and grounds keeping experience, be comfortable using a range of hand tools, and possess good knowledge of groundskeeping equipment such as whipper snippers and lawn mowers. Applicants with an MR Driver Licence will be highly regarded.
We are looking for an outstanding candidate that can deliver high quality work while following timelines and adhering to WHS policies and procedures. You will also possess a great work ethic and attitude.

Location: Based in Muttaburra, with Regional Work and Travel as required.
Classification Level: Level 3 of the Queensland Local Government Industry (Stream B) Award – State 2017 and the Barcaldine Regional Council Certified Agreement 2022.
Wage: Minimum base salary of $68,312.40 per annum + Superannuation (up to 12%) and relevant approved allowances.
Payment of Wages: Council employees are paid fortnightly.
Hours of work: 76 hours over 9 days with a rostered day off (RDO) every fortnight.
Leave Entitlements: Five (5) weeks annual leave per annum + 17.5% Loading. Fifteen (15) days Personal Leave (sick leave) per annum.
