About us:
Building, Engineering and Maintenance Services (BEMS), based in Rockhampton with regional hubs, supports Central Queensland Health. The Gladstone Maintenance team includes trades such as refrigeration, electrical, and plumbing, providing scheduled preventative maintenance, statutory checks, and 24-hour breakdown support across Gladstone and Banana regions.
About the role:
To provide comprehensive services to support Building, Engineering and Maintenance Services within Central Queensland Hospital and Health Service area. To maintain a high-quality trade service which supports the Central Queensland Hospital and Health Service commitments to the principles of patient focused care and quality management. This position will be based at Gladstone Hospital and may be required to be deployed to other Central Queensland Health facilities when required.
About you:
Hold a recognised trade qualification in Refrigeration Mechanics.
Possess restricted Electrical Trade and Gas licence qualifications (ARC) Australian Recognised Certificate.
Current Workplace Health and Safety General Safety Induction Card.
Current Working at Heights and Confined Space Certification.
What we offer:
Total remuneration value of up to $103,065 p.a. is comprised of:
An hourly rate between $38.59 - $45.55 p.h.
12.75% employer superannuation contribution
17.5% leave loading
