About the Service

The Maternal & Child Health team works independently with families and maintains a strong team approach for overall service provision. They maintain strong relationships with other agencies and clinicians working with families with young children.

* The service aims to build strong collaborative partnerships to facilitate family-focused, integrated, multidisciplinary support for families.
Duties
">
Promote and comply with the M&CH service framework. Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to facilitate person-centered care. Apply the principles of culturally inclusive, family-centered practice and primary health care.
Mandatory Qualifications, Skills, and Experience
">
* Hold current registration with Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Authority.
* Have Post Graduate Maternal & Child Health qualification.
* Have proven and significant experience as a Maternal & Child Health nurse.
* Understand and apply the M&CH Key Ages & Stages Framework.
* Have preferred leadership/coordination experience. Have preferred Lactation qualification.
* Provide evidence of a current Driver's License.
* Meet the requirements for Clear Police Check and Clear Working with Children Check.
