**Your responsibilities**:
- Targeted acquisition including cold calling to win new customers and actively contribute to business development
- Expansion and maintaining of contact networks to our current and potential clients and partners
- Regular customer visits and active participation at trade fairs, conferences and customer events
- Preparation of client meetings, presentations and other tasks to support the Business Development Manager in all sales matters
- Track and ensure the fulfilment of the timely submission and deadlines
- Preparation of quotations and offers as well as complex calculations
- Close cooperation with affiliate teams within our headquarters in Karlsruhe, Germany
**Your profile**:
- Degree in a business discipline or related field of study or relevant experience
- First experience with sales, account management and/or proposal management
- Desire to understand and learn new technologies
- Excellent communication, negotiation and presentation skills
- Able to collaborate effectively in a multinational environment
- Excellent time management and planning skills
- Solid experience in Microsoft Office products
- Fluent in English; German language skills would be a plus
- Availability for frequent business travel within Australia/New Zealand and to the headquarters in Germany from time to time
