Process technician

Westgold Resources is shaping the future of gold mining in Western Australia. This role is a full‐time permanent position based at our Higginsville Operation, with a competitive salary and attractive benefits package.

• Operate all processing plant equipment, including milling, CIL, crushing, elution circuit, control room, and tailings storage facilities.
• Operate forklift, EWP, and skid‐steer safely and correctly.
• Operate process control systems using CITECT.
• Identify and diagnose items of the plant that require preventive maintenance or repair.
• Identify and act on ways to improve output or efficiency of the plant.
• Liaise with contractors and stakeholders as required.

• Current "C" Class manual Western Australian driver's licence.
• Experience working within a gold processing plant.
• Experience with Sag/Ball Mill operations.
• Physically fit and able to perform manual tasks.
• Experience in process control and SCADA systems (CITECT) (desirable).
• Confined Space Ticket (desirable).
• Gas Testing Ticket (desirable).
• Working at Heights Ticket (desirable).
• Forklift Licence (desirable).
• A can‐do, team‐oriented attitude.
• Reasonable computer skills & literacy, particularly across the MS Office suite.
• Solid problem‐solving skills, with the ability to think on your feet and be adaptable.
• Excellent communication skills.
