We're a next-generation pet wellness company rewriting the rules of dog food. Since launching just 3 years ago we have onboarded 15,000+ dogs, scored thousands of 5-star reviews, built a state of the art manufacturing facility and are now serving 10+ million meals annually to furry best mates around the nation.
We use state of the art air-drying technology to manufacture premium Australian pet food and treats for Eureka, Open Paddock and a variety of private label customers at our manufacturing branch Murray River Pet Food (MRPF). MRPF is constantly researching and developing new processes to ensure our products are top quality, ground-breaking and accessible to the wholesale and retail markets and have recently implemented a multimillion-dollar upgrade to our facility.
The Role
Based at our brand new manufacturing site in Howlong, NSW and reporting to the Head of Operations, the People & Culture Manager is responsible for leading all human resources and culture-related functions. This role is suited to a strategic HR leader who can partner with our leadership team to align workforce capability, culture and performance with the business' long-term objectives, while maintaining appropriate governance and compliance in a manufacturing environment.
Key responsibilities
Provide governance and oversight of employee relations, industrial frameworks and HR compliance
Ensure WHS, wellbeing and safety culture are embedded across the organisation
Oversee HR systems, policies and processes to ensure they are fit-for-purpose and future-focused
Develop and implement P&C strategies, frameworks and action plans to support organisational growth and performance
Provide strategic advice to the leadership team on culture, people risk and organisational effectiveness
Lead organisational development, succession planning and leadership capability initiatives
Drive culture, engagement and employee value proposition initiatives
About you
Minimum 3 years' experience as HR / P&C Manager
Strong background in manufacturing or FMCG businesses preferr
Demonstrated capability in workforce strategy, organisational development and culture transformation
Deep knowledge of Australian employment legislation and industrial relations
Influential, commercially minded and confident engaging with stakeholders from production to executive level
Relevant tertiary qualifications in HR, IR or Business (AHRI membership advantageous)
