Responsibilities
Role Description
Florage Tasmania is seeking a full-time Florist to join our Launceston, TAS location. In this on-site role, you will be responsible for designing and arranging floral creations, managing inventory, liaising with customers to meet their specific needs, and ensuring all work adheres to our sustainable values. Additional responsibilities include maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the workspace and assisting with event and business client needs. This role requires creativity, attention to detail, and a commitment to delivering exceptional service and quality in all aspects of floral design.
Qualifications
Desired Experience
1. Some experience in Floral Design, Flower Arranging, and event styling
2. Knowledge or desire to learn sustainable floristry practices and eco-friendly design techniques
3. Customer service skills, including active listening, needs assessment, and effective communication
4. Organizational skills for managing inventory, scheduling, and daily operations
5. Ability to work in a fast-paced on-site environment and meet deadlines
6. Teamwork and collaboration skills to assist colleagues and ensure smooth operations
7. Prior experience in floristry or a related field is strongly preferred
8. Passion for sustainability and eco-conscious initiatives in line with Florage company values
