About This Opportunity
Our Gympie store is looking for a motivated and hardworking applicant to assist in leading the store\'s meat department. Reporting directly to the Meat Manager, this successful applicant will be responsible for assisting the management of a small team, creating rosters, generating orders, completing stock takes and more.
Responsibilities
Assist the Meat Manager in leading the meat department team
Create rosters and manage labour
Generate orders and manage stock takes
Contribute to achieving gross profit targets
Provide hands-on leadership and ensure excellent customer service
Communicate effectively with team members and management
Qualifications
Australian trade qualification in Butchery (essential)
Ability to lead and manage a team
Ability to order and control costs
Understanding of gross profit calculations
Strong customer service focus and hands-on approach
Excellent communication skills
Ability to coach, train and performance manage teams
Commitment to work health and safety standards
