About the role
We are looking for an amazing 'Receptionist / Grounds & On‐Site Caretaker' to join the team and take our Fraser Coast Holiday Park to the next level!
We welcome applications from individuals or two people applying together. This is a part-time / permanent role with 20 guaranteed hours per week – There will be flexibility for additional hours depending on skills and availability. Due to the overnight caretaking responsibilities, this is a live‐in role with on-site accommodation provided.
The successful applicant must be available to work weekends, and public holidays as required. This role will primarily involve weekend work.
You will be responsible for:
* Monitoring the property overnight and responding promptly to guest enquiries or concerns.
* Welcoming visitors and guests at the front office and providing a friendly, professional first point of contact.
* Managing general administrative tasks, including answering phone calls, responding to emails, and handling guest enquiries.
* Carrying out basic groundskeeping duties, including maintaining outdoor areas to ensure the property remains clean, tidy, and well presented.
* Assisting with a range of general duties to support the smooth day‐to‐day operation of the property.
* Working collaboratively with team members to maintain efficient and effective operations.
What You'll Bring to the Team
* Must have (or be willing to complete) a current Police Check
* Must have (or be willing to complete) a current Working with Children Check
* Must have (or be willing to complete) a current First Aid CPR certification
* Must have a valid driver's licence
* Prior experience in Hospitality / Guest Services Industry (preferred, not required)
* Friendly, professional, and confident with guests and site holders
* Excellent customer service and communication skills
* Comfortable living and working on‐site
* Available to work weekends and public holidays as required
* High standards and excellent attention to detail
* Confident using Microsoft Word, Excel, and email
* Supports smooth operations, ensuring positive guest experiences and well‐maintained facilities
* Respectful of workplace health and safety practices
