Job Title: Class 5 Driver
We're seeking an experienced Civil Road Construction worker with a valid Class 5 license and WTR endorsement to join our team. The successful candidate will travel throughout the greater Canterbury region, staying away for up to 3 weeks at a time. They will be required to work occasional night shifts, operate heavy machinery, load, secure, and transport plant and equipment, as well as assist with physical laboring tasks.
About the Role:
* Travel throughout the greater Canterbury region.
* Operate Class 5 and heavy machinery in support of road construction sites.
* Load, secure, and transport plant and equipment.
* Assist with physical laboring tasks when not driving.
Requirements:
* A valid Class 5 driver's license.
* WTR endorsed.
* Ability to pass pre-employment checks, including Drug & Alcohol and Ministry of Justice screening.
* Fit with a keen attitude - this is not just a driving role - you will be required to do physical work at times.
* The legal right to work in New Zealand (with proof).
