We are seeking a dedicated Medical Practitioner to join our Anaesthesia team at the Royal Adelaide Hospital. In this vital role, you’ll be responsible for managing patient care in collaboration with a dynamic team of Consultants, Nurses and Allied Health professionals. You’ll be joining a supportive and forward-thinking department that values clinical excellence, safety, and compassion in all aspects of care. As a Provisional Fellow of the Australian and New Zealand College of Anaesthetists (or holding an equivalent qualification), you’ll bring both advanced clinical skills and a strong commitment to teaching and continuous improvement. This role offers the opportunity to make a real impact, contributing to high-quality anaesthetic services and playing an active role in shaping future generations of clinicians. About You We’re seeking a motivated and collaborative Anaesthetist who brings a strong clinical foundation, excellent communication skills, and a passion for delivering high-quality patient care. Eligible for registration with the Medical Board of Australia, with successful completion of the ANZCA Final Fellowship Examination (or equivalent) and at least 18 months of clinical anaesthesia experience. Demonstrated commitment to professional excellence, continuous learning, and participation in departmental activities. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary teams and across diverse cultural backgrounds. Sound clinical knowledge, including current standards, investigations and treatments relevant to the role, with a flexible and positive approach to change and direction.
