Marketing Executive – Digital & Communications EMPLOYMENT STATUS
Full-time (Permanent).
ROLE SUMMARY
This is a mid-level role responsible for the end-to-end coordination and delivery of client campaigns across traditional and digital platforms. The role manages a portfolio of client accounts and oversees projects, including digital communication (websites, marketing, Indigenous), video, and radio production. This position operates with a high level of autonomy while working under the guidance of the Senior Leadership Team. A strong focus is placed on client service, collaboration, and ensuring projects are delivered on time, on brief, and within budget.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
* Manage and nurture a portfolio of new and existing client accounts, delivering exceptional service with a focus on relationship-building and retention
* Contribute to and initiate marketing strategies and communications plans aligned with client objectives
* Use project management tools (e.g. Monday.com or Streamtime) for job tracking, quoting, scheduling, and workflow coordination
* Open job tickets, prepare and issue quotes within 24 hours of request, and diligently track timelines and budgets
* Coordinate internal teams and external subcontractors to ensure efficient project delivery
* Maintain regular communication with clients, providing updates and proactively managing expectations
* Attend client WIP meetings and actively participate in key account discussions
Account Management
* Build and maintain strong working relationships with external suppliers (e.g. printers, signage, merchandise), sourcing quotes and coordinating production schedules
* Stay informed of industry trends and best practice through ongoing professional development
Marketing & Digital Communications
* Translate client briefs into clear marketing plans, creative briefs, media briefs, and proposals
* Coordinate all campaign elements, including production and digital teams, timelines, and budgets
* Manage website projects, including quoting, scheduling, and collaborating with in-house and external development partners
* Coordinate the production of TV, radio, and video content for client campaigns
* Act as a key point of contact for clients and media buyers during campaign planning and execution
* Coordinate event logistics as required
Business Development
* Identify opportunities for account growth and the re-engagement of previous clients
* Promote the full suite of Sprout services, ensuring clients are aware of all capabilities
* Contribute to new business development activity in collaboration with the Senior Leadership Team
Meet agreed KPIs, which may include:
* Weekly WIP meetings with account clients
* A minimum of two client meetings per week with existing or former clients
* Participation in at least one new business meeting per week
QUALIFICATIONS, KNOWLEDGE, & EXPERIENCE
* Minimum 2 years experience in a marketing, account management, or communications role
* Strong attention to detail and exceptional organisational skills
* High-level written and verbal communication skills
* Proven ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
* Positive, solutions-focused attitude with strong interpersonal skills
* Proficiency in Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Slides)
* Basic skills in Adobe Creative Suite (preferred)
* Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team
