Job Purpose:

In this key leadership role, you will be responsible for overseeing and driving the success of the organic marketing streams at Chain Social: social media team, influencer team, and user-generated content (UGC) team. As the Team Lead, you will play a crucial role in developing and executing comprehensive client strategies, managing team workflows, and contributing to the agency's overall growth.

Key Responsibilities:

Client Account Management

* Allocate new clients to the ideal team member and distribute the client allocations as required to ensure client satisfaction and success.
* Oversee the onboarding of new clients into the agency ensuring a smooth and seamless transition.
* Establish a holistic Social strategy and KPIs, and report on key success metrics such as interactions and engagement. Includes content analysis and recommendations f or new and existing retainer clients incorporating social media, influencer marketing and user-generated content to drive client success.
* Review client accounts and client reporting monthly to ensure key success metrics are delivered and new opportunities are identified.
* Oversee all clients with proactive management to prevent/minimise conflicts and emergencies.
* Collaborate with the Director of Growth to identify and pursue new business opportunities and potential clients.
* Measure and report on the success of organic marketing campaigns.
* Work across various business offerings to integrate organic marketing strategies into comprehensive marketing solutions for clients.
* Lead new client pitches.
* Collaborate with the Brand & Marketing Manager on occasion to ensure successful social media rollout of Chain owned media.
* As the most senior member of the Social team, resolve any client concerns and issues should they arise.
* Contribute weekly Social department updates to Senior Leadership WIPs.

Projects & Consultations

* Actively contribute to the Chain Academy by preparing future modules, taking consultation calls with members/subscribers, and hosting webinars.
* Conduct consultation sessions focusing on areas of their organic strategy guided by best practice.
* Provide organic social reviews and audits.
* Oversee the end-to-end management of UGC projects via your team.
* Influencer Projects and Event Management.

Team Management

* Collaborate with other divisions to ensure seamless integration of organic marketing efforts with broader marketing initiatives.
* Drive system and process improvements by identifying new templates, LOOMs and other documentation to be rolled out operationally.
* Implement and monitor professional development plans for team members to ensure best-practice knowledge across all platforms.
* Hold weekly WIP meetings with each team member.
* On occasion and alongside HR, sit in on and interview candidates to assess their technical capability.
* Work with HR to resolve any grievances.
* Conduct performance reviews and adapt success metrics and development plans accordingly.
* Accurately record time (time tracking) in MinuteDock daily and ensure accountability across the social division.
* Oversee Contractors who provide a service relative to your division. I.e. ensure agreements are prepared by HR and signed before commencement, ensure insurance documents are obtained, have complete oversight on overall cost and how this fits into the agency budget, monitor the duration and performance output of said contractor, and approve invoices.
* Run workshops and training sessions with team members to enhance their skills and expertise.
* On occasion, contribute to the Chain Social internship program through mentoring and knowledge sharing.
* Set productivity expectations and targets for the team and its members alongside the Director.
* Provide support to the Director and other Senior team members on ad-hoc projects.
* Foster a positive culture and nurture morale within the division and teams by investing in the staff, constantly communicating expectations, and addressing and coaching any shortcomings.
* Be an ambassador of Chain Social Agency by living and breathing our company values.

Additional Requirements

* Minimum of five (5) years experience in organic marketing, social media or influencer marketing, with four (4) years of leadership or managerial expertise.
* Agency experience is preferred but not essential.
* Strong leadership and management skills, with a track record of building and developing high-performing teams.
* Exceptional strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on driving business growth for clients.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate team members.
* In-depth knowledge of social platforms, influencer marketing trends and user-generated content strategies.
* Live and breathe social media attitude.
* Thrive under the pressure of competing priorities, shifting demands and the guidance/support sought by staff to delight the many different clients of Chain Social.
* Highly responsive to clients and staff with demonstrated ability to lead them calmly and confidently through moments of stress or crisis management.
* Excellent attention to detail.
* Ability to analyse data, draw insights, and make strategic recommendations.
* Familiarity with e-commerce and digital marketing trends.
