We bring brands to life!ROLE IN A NUTSHELLAs the Junior Planner, you will be responsible for planning and forecasting all stock requirements ensuring the successful procurement and allocation of stock that results in balanced assortments and stock-levels in stores to achieve (and exceed) sales budgets, margins and manage stock levels. Amongst many other crucial tasks, you will play an integral role in providing feedback to the Buying Team on the range of effectiveness of products in stores, by sharing information on trends based on product performance, rate of sale.WHAT YOU’LL BE DOINGManage workflow of all planning tasks, data extraction and interpretation on a weekly, monthly and seasonal basis.Complete all planning tasks, eg. Trade Report, Intake, Allocations & Replens, Warehouse monitoring and management, New Stores, Range Plans, Core management and WSSI management.Through the WSSI build and manage financial plans for product categories.OTB Management, stock forecasting, markdown strategies, correct seasonal flow & phasing, and continual store stock balancing.Continual assessment of sales & stock requirements for Core lines based on product/size/store performance, ensuring that item forecasts are accurately maintained and order requirements placed timeously with suppliers.Develop and implement strategies for product allocation and replenishment to ensure optimal distribution across stores.Stock profitability/productivity assessments (store, product and/or size performance ensuring customer demands are met).Manage budgeting, pre-season, in-season and post-seasonal processes, providing quality analysis on sales trends, profitability, product life cycle, pricing, sizing, product attributes and use this information for presentations and signoffs with the Heads of Departments and CEO.Manage the assortment planning process at category, options, quantities, pricing and any other attribute required to ensure that a balanced assortment are planned upfront.Collaborate with buying & marketing/ecom teams to plan and execute promotions and markdowns aligned to the trading calendar.
