An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced superannuation professional to join a leading Master Trust team in a broad Operations & Projects Manager role.
This is a high-impact position combining operational oversight, vendor management, and ownership of a pipeline of concurrent projects and platform enhancements. You will play a key role in driving delivery across strategic initiatives while ensuring operational excellence within a complex superannuation environment.
We are seeking someone who has successfully managed multiple projects simultaneously within superannuation and is comfortable navigating regulatory, administrative and stakeholder complexity.
The Role
Reporting to the Associate Director – Operations & Project Delivery, you will:
Manage a pipeline of small to medium platform and operational development projects delivered by the external administrator.Lead project scoping, requirements gathering, milestone tracking and risk management.Oversee delivery timelines and ensure alignment with strategic objectives.Support governance processes including reporting, status updates, and issue escalation.Partner closely with the external administrator to ensure quality and timely implementation.Monitor vendor performance and contractual adherence.Act as a key liaison between internal teams (Product, Operations, Compliance, Client Services) and external service providers.Identify opportunities for process improvement and operational efficiency.Contribute to regulatory and risk management frameworks (APRA, ASIC, AUSTRAC, ATO).
This role offers broad exposure across product design, fund and investment structures, defined benefit and pension administration, and Master Trust operations.
About You
You will bring:
4–7+ years’ experience within superannuation operations.Demonstrated experience managing multiple concurrent projects in a superannuation or Master Trust environment.Strong understanding of defined benefit, pensions and core administration processes.Experience working with or overseeing external administrators or service providers.Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills.Strong analytical capability and attention to detail.Sound understanding of regulatory obligations within superannuation.
