Role Description
Jon and Jon support hospitals throughout Australia who seek experienced Gen med consultants to work on a locum basis. This can include last minute shifts as well as longer term block booked work
. The successful candidate will be responsible for diagnosing and treating a broad range of medical conditions, providing expert consultation in general and specialized medicine, and closely collaborating with fellow physicians to ensure the highest standard of patient care. Additional responsibilities include participating in emergency and acute response care, and contributing to the training and mentorship of medical staff and junior physicians.
Qualifications
* Strong expertise in General Medicine and familiarity with specialty areas such as Cardiology
* Proven ability to work effectively alongside physicians and within multidisciplinary teams
* Experience in Emergency Medicine and handling acute medical cases
* Dedication to training, mentoring, and supporting the professional development of healthcare staff
* Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
* Medical degree and current registration with the relevant Australian medical board
* Commitment to ongoing professional development within the field of General Medicine
