We work in partnership with people and families who need individualized support services due to disability, ageing or mental ill-health. Our Support Workers work alongside people from all walks of life, giving, helping them live life the way they choose.
We're looking for a reliable support worker to join a small team providing care in Scarborough area. You'll be supporting customers who value social outings and staying active, and need assistance with household cleaning tasks. Training will be provided, all you need is the right attitude and willingness to learn
Due to customer preferences and care requirements, male applicants are encouraged to apply.
Shifts include:
* Monday to Friday - flexibility to work any hours between 7am - 7pm.
What You'll Do:
You'll be part of customers daily lives to live safely, confidently and independently.
* Medication prompts
* Domestic assistance and home support
* Social and Community support
* Support customers with mental health challenges, helping them feel confident, connected, and uplifted.
We'll support you with hands-on training, buddy shifts, and guidance to ensure you're confident and capable before working independently.
What You Need:
* A valid driver's licence and reliable vehicle
* A NDIS Worker Screening check (or willingness to obtain one)
* Flexibility to work mornings & afternoons between Monday to Friday
* Certificate III in Aged Care, Disability, Mental Health, or Community Services (desirable)
