Catering Manager


Our client is looking for an experienced and proactive Catering Manager to lead and oversee their catering operations. This is a key role for someone who thrives on managing teams, coordinating events, and ensuring exceptional service and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

* Catering Operations Management: Oversee all aspects of catering operations, from planning and preparation to execution, ensuring seamless service delivery.
* Team Leadership: Lead and coordinate kitchen and service staff, fostering a high-performance and collaborative team environment.
* Event Coordination: Work closely with clients and internal teams to plan menus, logistics, and staffing for events of all sizes.
* Inventory & Supplies: Manage stock levels, sourcing, and ordering of food and supplies to meet operational requirements.
* Compliance & Standards: Ensure all food safety, hygiene, and workplace safety standards are adhered to.
* Problem-Solving & Administration: Anticipate challenges, resolve issues promptly, and maintain accurate administrative records, including rosters and reports.


What Our Client is Looking For:

* Relevant Experience: Proven experience in catering management, hospitality operations, or large-scale food service management.
* Organised & Detail-Oriented: Strong organisational skills and attention to detail to manage multiple events and operational requirements.
* Leadership & People Skills: Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with a focus on team leadership and client satisfaction.
* Resilient & Calm Under Pressure: Ability to work effectively in high-pressure, fast-paced catering environments.
* Self-Starter: Motivated to take initiative, manage priorities independently, and ensure seamless operations.
* Tech-Savvy: Comfortable with Microsoft Office and catering or hospitality management systems.
