Job Overview
This is a key leadership role in the preparation of city-wide planning frameworks and strategies guiding sustainable urban growth.
* Develop and Coordinate Planning Projects: Develop, coordinate and implement strategic planning projects, policies and environmental planning instruments.
* Expert Advice and Representation: Provide expert advice on planning legislation and complex development matters. Represent Council in government hearings, community consultations and the Land and Environment Court.
* Mentorship and Team Guidance: Mentor and guide professional planners within the team.
