Right across the state, we are committed to exceptional care, accommodation, and support services for older Western Australians.We are currently seeking a Community Support Worker to join our friendly and supportive Home and Community Care team in the Mandurah area.Our Juniper Home and Community Care team provides community-based care programs that assist our aged customers to continue to live independently in their own homes. Renowned for our commitment to the delivery of person-centred care and best practice in relation to the provision of quality care, you will be working in a supportiveenvironment that encourages initiative and leadership.This position requires the delivery of personal care to our community clients, in addition to providing domestic assistance, transport and social support.Candidates with experience in the delivery of personal care (such as showering, dressing, toileting) to the aged will be viewed favourably.Working hours are between 7:00am-5pm Monday to Friday.To be considered for this role you must be available between these hours.There is no weekend work required.Contracted hours and days of work will be negotiated with the successful candidates.Key Responsibilities:Assist customers with administration of correct medicationAssist customers with domestic duties, meal preparation and other household tasks to ensure safe and hygienic living conditions in their own homesSocial Support, including transport to shops or appointmentsAdherence to Client Care PlanKey Requirements:Current Australian driver’s licence and reliable car - essentialCertificate III Aged Care - desirablePrevious experience working in the Community - desirableUnderstand documentation and relevant aged care legislationUnderstand principles of Occupational, Safety & Health and correct manual handlingVerbal and written communication skills for interacting with staff, clients, families and service providers in a manner which is effective and consistentWhat’s on offer:Attractive rate of pay $32.88-$35.71 per hour (dependent on experience and qualifications), plus 11.5% superannuationNon-profit values driven Western Australian aged care providerAll employees have access to Juniperks an online platform that unlocks exclusive retail discounts, employee perks, wellness initiatives and peer acknowledgementSalary Package up to $18,550 per annum tax freeEmployee Assistance Program with free counsellingHow to apply:If you are passionate about delivering person-centred care and have the skills and experience required for this role, we would love to hear from you.
