Responsibilities
* Managing overall construction team performance
* Providing coaching and assessing the performance of Site Managers on site
* Adhering to Metricon's building practices and procedures and looking to further improve upon them
* Maximising workflow through efficient systems, including trade retention and allocation and supplier management
* Implementing effective project management with a cost imperative in mind
* Assuring trades/suppliers are working on each job every day to drive profitability
* Ensuring all homes are constructed to display homes standards as a minimum
* Fostering a strong work culture where customer experience, teamwork and staff development are paramount.

Qualifications
* Diploma in Building Construction or a Degree in an equivalent course is an advantage
* Minimum of 4+ years of experience in a management role within a customer focused, time critical work environment
* Extensive working knowledge of construction processes and details
* Ability to manage an OH&S program
* Highly competent in the use of Microsoft Office suite PC skills
* Detailed working knowledge of relevant estimating systems
* Proven experience in workflow management
* Up to date knowledge and understanding of Building regulations and BCA requirements
* Previous on-site construction role.
This role requires a national police check and medical check to be undertaken.
