THE ROLE
Reporting to the Manager, People and Culture, the Human Resources Officer role supports the Social Services Regulator's end-to-end recruitment, including reviewing applications, assisting in candidate selection, supporting interview coordination and participation, pre-employment documentation and drafting offer letters. The Human Resources Officer plays a pivotal role in ensuring recruitment processes are efficient, compliant, and aligned with organisational needs. This includes liaising with hiring managers, managing candidate communications, and maintaining accurate documentation throughout the recruitment lifecycle.
ACCOUNTABILITIES INCLUDE
* Support the SSR's end to end recruitment, including reviewing applications, assisting in candidate selection, supporting interview coordination and participation, pre-employment documentation and drafting offer letters.
* Prepare and review position description to ensure alignment with organisational standards and role requirements, verify the accuracy of the position number, and post the vacancy through the approved recruitment platform in accordance with established procedures
* Support the full recruitment lifecycle including sourcing, shortlisting, interviewing, assessments, background checking and offer management.
* Coordinate in facilitating, scheduling of interview, post-interview checks including pre-employment screening checks, candidate outcomes and approval processes.
* Provide support to hiring managers and managing candidate communications and ensuring all records are maintained and stored confidentially.
* Provide administrative support with the SSR's HR processes and systems, including management of the SSR's staffing profile/establishment, reporting lines and other HR related systems and reporting tools.
