About the role
Your mission is to increase brand, lead and application metrics for Tyro by supporting the strategic planning of our digital activity and maximising the effectiveness of our marketing technology suite. With a passion for B2B marketing and a high focus on Content and SEO your role will be pivotal in supporting our digital marketing channels and the development, implementation and optimisation of digital acquisition campaigns that drive education, lead and application generation. Your strategies will foster trust and credibility and showcase Tyro’s obsession with Australian businesses and as leader within the payment’s industry. Reporting to the Marketing Lead – Direct Channels, you will be a key stakeholder in enabling Tyro to the commercial targets you are issued with. You will aim for constant improvement in your channels and extend into other digital marketing channels as required including paid media and affiliates.
Content & SEO duties
1. Lead, design and implement a comprehensive content marketing and SEO strategy aligned with the Tyro’s marketing goals
2. Own the end-to-end experience, content, form, page creation, collaboration with stakeholders, customers, designers and experts required to produce high-quality materials, manage approvals and compliance and execute in channels
3. Establish tactics to attract and convert first party data, develop and deliver content to our prospects or customers via email or formats required to reach customers
4. Establish several formats including written articles, video demonstrations, white papers, and podcasts, testimonials or case studies, and thought leadership pieces, or whatever is necessary, manage approvals and produce an execution and amplification plan,
5. Assist with Tyro’s go-to-market or campaign plan, by delivering specific program content to drive the campaign, product, vertical or other goals that are issued with the GTM strategy
6. Develop product education materials that drives education and consideration to convert landing page visits
7. Implement SEO focused content to enhance the Tyro’s organic visibility and ranking in top of funnel and middle of funnel, ensuring content is optimised for relevant keywords and search intent.
8. Implement a continuous improvement mindset, establishing new ideas and innovative methods to drive growth
9. Provide strategic & technical SEO advice & support whilst implementing SEO initiatives and liaising with SEO agency to increase SEO performance YoY
10. Utilise tools to measure and report on the impact of content initiatives, providing key insights to stakeholders and leveraging data to refine future content strategies.
General duties
11. Extend into other digital marketing channels as required including paid media and affiliates in-house or with agencies as required
12. Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging digital channels (SEO, TikTok, Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn), and content best practices, applying innovative approaches to continually enhance the effectiveness and amplification of content campaigns.
13. Ensure brand consistency across all content channels, maintaining a unified voice and messaging that aligns with the Tyro’s values and objectives.
14. You may be using tools such as SEM rush, Wordpress, Yoast SEO (WordPress plugin), Marketo, Adwords, Meta Ads manager, Microsoft Advertising, LinkedIn campaign manager, Adobe DSP, Flashtalking (Ad serving), Taboola (Native), Adobe analytics, Salesforce, GA4, Excel, PowerPoint, Canva, Jira etc
15. Be an active and engaged member of the Marketing Team supporting change, fostering positivity and development
What you'll need
16. Tertiary business or marketing related qualification
17. B2B marketing experience is preferable
18. Approximately 4 years’ experience in content and SEO
19. Analytics platform experience
20. Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritise work
21. Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
22. Experience in trafficking digital placements is preferable
23. Hands on digital media planning and buying experience across platforms such as SEM, Programmatic and Paid Social a bonus
24. Financial services experience is preferable
25. Good Excel skills
