Job Title: Community Officer – Volunteers and Grants
As a key member of our team, you will collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to support the community and Council in administering grants and delivering community-based projects.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Manage S355 Committees, ensuring effective collaboration, member recruitment, minute collection, and distribution of correspondence.
2. Oversee databases for Community Development, guaranteeing accuracy and currency of information, such as the Community Volunteer database and contact lists.
3. Collaborate with the Community Development team to identify services that increase participation in the grants program and enhance the quality and quantity of applications.
4. Contribute to the continuous improvement of the grants program through data analysis and recommendations.
5. Coordinate the Council's Volunteer program, promoting opportunities for community engagement.
Requirements:
* Hold a valid Driver's Licence (Class C) - NSW.
* Obtain a Working with Children Check or be willing to do so.
* Possess a Certificate III qualification.
