We are a dynamic and growing business with a great team and a loyal client base. Strong growth means that we're now looking for a talented, savvy individual to take up a key role in our Wollongong headquarters and become our new, Customer Service Representative (CSR).

The role can be either Full-time or Part-time with a minimum of 4 days per week or shorter hours over 4 or 5 days.

What you'll be doing

As our new CSR, you'll be the frontline lynchpin of our team and manage much of our inbound inquiry flow.

Your deft communication skills will enable you to handle incoming calls and perform reception work, projecting a friendly, professional demeanour at all times. And your organisational smarts will enable you to log and track the numerous requests we receive from our clients.

You'll also provide administrative and clerical assistance for our accountant and help out with other office duties as needed.

What we need

You don't need to have previous experience in the industry (though it helps). However, we do require an experienced CSR or office administrator — you will have worked two to three years in a customer service, reception, or administration role.

You also need to be a quick learner with a bright personality. For you, problem-solving is not a problem.

Here's what we're looking for:

* Someone who can work Full-time or Part-time. This position is either Full-time, Monday-Friday, 38 hours per week or Part-time - a minimum of 4 days per week or shorter hours over 4 or 5 days.
* Order processing. Process orders and provide order updates.
* Issue resolution. Assist with the resolution of product or service issues, including warranty claims.
* Estimating and quoting knowledge. You have a basic understanding of quoting and estimating principles or are willing to learn.
* Two to three years of administration experience. You don't have the experience, tell us in your cover letter why you're still a great fit for the position.
* Someone who is friendly and polite. A people person is a must You will answer our phones and be the voice of our company. We must give customers a positive impression.
* Computer skills. You know your way around MS Office (especially Outlook, Word, and Excel).
* CRM database skills.Experience working within CRMs and maintaining accurate records of customer interactions and transactions.
* Organisational skills. There's a difference between saying you're organised and actually being organised.
* The ability to work with others. We're a team and we'd like someone that is a good personality fit and can communicate easily about ongoing projects.
* The ability to turn a negative into a positive. You are the first person to talk to customers having maintenance issues. Your empathy and calm demeanor when logging a job and transferring them to the right people is a critical part of the support chain.
