Primary Health Care Services for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Communities
We are seeking an experienced healthcare professional to join our team as an Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Health Practitioner. This role will provide a range of clinical primary health care services to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander clients and communities, including delivering specific health care programs relating to Skin Health and Rheumatic Heart Disease.
* The successful applicant will be responsible for assessing and treating clients, maintaining health care systems, and providing advice and support while under clinical supervision.
Key Responsibilities:
* Deliver clinical primary health care services to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander clients and communities.
* Develop and implement specific health care programs relating to Skin Health and Rheumatic Heart Disease.
* Assess and treat clients, maintaining accurate records of patient information.
* Provide advice and support to clients, families, and carers.
* Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care.
Requirements:
* Relevant tertiary degree qualification in a field such as nursing, medicine, or allied health.
* Appropriate registration and licensing requirements.
* Current C Class Motor Vehicle Licence.
* Ability to work effectively in a rural and remote environment.
