The Planning Group delivers functions focused on Statutory Planning Services, Planning and Heritage, Building, Planning Implementation, Forward Policy and Business Strategy, and Planning Panels. The Planning Group has portfolio engagement responsibilities for a number of significant Statutory Authorities and Administrative Offices ranging in size, complexity and core functions.
**POSITION OUTCOMES**
- Under limited supervision, assist in the preparation of quality written material such as reports and correspondence within required timeframes.
- Establish and maintain effective working relationships with peers and key stakeholders including State government agencies and local government.
- Work flexibly and collaboratively across the business to deliver business unit, group and department priorities and initiatives as required.
- Assist with document management and correspondence in ECM, the Division's web-based document sharing and management system.
- Support the processing of Ministerial briefings and correspondence through file creation and tracking.
- Support the branch's effectiveness through knowledge development, sharing and contributing to a positive and collaborative culture in the workplace.
- Work flexibly and collaboratively across the Planning Group to deliver priorities and initiatives as required.
- To practice cultural safety by creating environments, relationships and systems free from racism and discrimination so that people can feel safe, valued and able to participate.

**KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS**
**Specialist/Technical Expertise/Qualifications**
- Relevant experience in an administration, project management or para planning role is preferred.
- Experience working in government and in electronic file management would be an advantage.

**QUALIFICATIONS and experience**
**Mandatory**
- A relevant tertiary qualification and experience is required. Applicants in their final year of study to obtain a qualification may be considered.
**Desirable**
Working knowledge of the Victorian planning system is preferred.
