Reporting to the OSHC Director and with a strong support network, the OSHC Assistant Director will be responsible for supporting the delivery of an effective and efficient operation of the Out of School Hours Care program in accordance with school policies, management guidelines and statutory requirements.What You'll Do:Create an environment where learning and growth are always at the forefront - both for our children and our educators, ensuring they stay up to date with the latest ideas, best practices and our parent community requirements.Design and coordinate experiences that align with the My Time, Our Place Framework and meet or exceed the National Quality Standard (NQS).
Ensure all aspects of the service meet ACECQA and Education Standards Board (ESB) requirements—without losing sight of fun, curiosity, and child-led learning.Ensure the safety, wellbeing, and inclusion of all children in your care.Supervise and support children during indoor/outdoor activities, meals, and rest periods.Uphold OSHC standards, policies, and procedures, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations.Foster positive relationships with children, families, and team members.Promote a safe, clean, and hazard-free environment.Champion child protection protocols and uphold confidentiality standards.What You'll Bring:Qualifications:A relevant ACEQA approved qualification and demonstrated industry experience in a comparable role is preferred - (Qualifications include a Diploma, Cert III or IV in: Youth Work, Social Work, Allied Health, Health, Sport and Recreation, Creative Arts, Psychology, Behavioural & Social Sciences; Disability, Community Services; and Leisure and Health - or completed two years of a four year Teaching degree.Valid Working with Children Check (WWCC)Current RRHAN-EC Fundamentals & Masterclass CertificateSkills & Attributes:Experience in leading and supporting a team in the delivery of safe, fun and exceptional care and education - promoting children's growth and developmentStrong leadership and interpersonal skillsConfidence in building positive relationships with childrenCommitment to Christian education and inclusive practicesAbility to work collaboratively within a teamHigh standards for child wellbeing and developmentUnderstanding of equal opportunity and workplace safety principlesWhy work at Trinity College?
