About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Area Manager to oversee and support three hospitality venues in the Hunter Valley: Arthur's Pantry, Mr O Wholefoods, and Ronnie's Pokolbin.
This role is critical to the continued success of the group. You will work closely with ownership and Venue Managers to ensure strong operational performance, consistent standards, and positive team culture across all sites.
This is a hands-on leadership role, ideal for someone who enjoys being on the floor, mentoring managers, and driving results across multiple venues.
Key Responsibilities
* Support, coach, and develop Venue Managers across all sites
* Drive consistent service standards, systems, and procedures
* Oversee onboarding, training, and leadership development
* Assist with rostering and labour management
* Monitor labour costs and COGS against business targets
* Identify operational issues and implement improvements
* Maintain a visible, hands-on presence across venues
* Act as a key point of contact between venue teams and ownership
* Foster a positive, accountable, high-performing team culture
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
* Proven experience in hospitality management (multi-site experience highly regarded)
* Strong understanding of labour, COGS, and operational efficiency
* Experience leading and developing managers
* A hands-on, floor-led leadership style
* Strong communication and organisational skills
* Flexibility to work hospitality hours and across multiple sites
* A passion for food, service, and team culture
