Overview
Senior Recruitment Consultant specialising in Building Services, Property, Facilities Management and Asset Management and Technical Advisory. Are you ready to take the next step into senior leadership with a consultancy that has been shaping the property and asset management industry for over 25 years?
About the Role
We are partnering with an Australian-owned, independent consultancy committed to delivering expert Building Consultancy, PPP Advisory, Infrastructure, and Facilities & Asset Management Consulting for the last 25+ years. With strong growth across the eastern seaboard, we are seeking an Executive Asset Advisor to join their Brisbane office. This is a rare chance to establish and grow the asset advisory capability in Queensland, working alongside technical peers in Quantity Surveying and reporting directly to the Director of Advisory.
Key responsibilities
* Advising on asset and FM strategies, frameworks, lifecycle models, and operational plans.
* Delivering due diligence and technical advisory for PPPs and social infrastructure.
* Supporting procurement processes — from drafting specifications and KPIs to facilitating workshops and reviewing bids.
* Benchmarking FM performance and assessing service delivery against ISO standards.
* Preparing feasibility studies, business cases, and structured reports for government and private clients.
* Coaching and mentoring junior consultants as the Brisbane practice grows.
What We're Looking For
* An experienced individual in asset management, property, or facilities management, ideally with exposure to social infrastructure (health, education, corrections, housing).
* Strong knowledge of FM/AM delivery models, lifecycle costing, and performance frameworks.
* Familiarity with ISO 55000 and/or ISO 41000 standards.
* Tertiary qualifications in property, business, building, asset or facilities management.
* Professional accreditation with a recognised body (FMA, IFMA, PCA, RICS, AIQS, IAM, IPWEA, etc.).
* Advanced skills in MS Office (Word, Excel, Project).
* A track record of leading projects, managing revenue and project pipelines, and developing client networks.
What's on Offer
* Career progression – clear pathway to Associate Director, Director, and potential equity.
* Flexibility – outcome-based work arrangements that suit your lifestyle.
* Culture & inclusion – diverse teams, female directors and mentors, and strong investment in Women in Construction & Property initiatives.
* Support & structure – comprehensive onboarding, national technical expertise, and a people-focused leadership team.
* Attractive salary package – Circa $130,000-$150,000 plus benefits.
This is a career-defining opportunity to lead, shape, and grow a consultancy's asset advisory services in Brisbane.
