We partner with clients across Australia and globally, working with brands in insurance, health, construction, logistics and professional services. Different markets, different audiences, same expectation: smart, clear content that cuts through.
We are looking for a Social Media Specialist to join our
full-time, in-office team
in Mt Lawley. This is not a captions-only job. This is for someone who can think, write, and shape opinions for brands and leaders operating locally and internationally.
What you'll be doing:
* Creating long-form and short-form copy for Gotcha Media and a range of Australian and global B2B clients
* Monitoring performance, contributing to reporting, and using insights to refine content strategy
* Assisting with the day-to-day management of client accounts from a content perspective
* Translating complex or technical topics into clear, confident, engaging content
* Ensuring brand voice consistency across multiple clients, industries and markets
* Collaborating closely with other team members to bring ideas to life
* Contributing to Gotcha Media's own brand voice and positioning
* Staying across industry and content trends without blindly following them
* Owning the end-to-end delivery of social content for assigned client accounts
* Proofing content for accuracy, tone and brand alignment before publishing
This role is for you if:
* Are a strong writer with a strategic mindset
* Can write in someone else's voice without it sounding generic or safe
* Understand B2B audiences and enjoy working with complex industries
* Are comfortable writing for leaders operating across different regions and markets
* Are confident sharing ideas and pushing content beyond surface-level thinking
* Can manage multiple clients and deadlines without losing quality
Our ideal new team member will have:
* Proven experience in copywriting, content strategy, journalism, communications or a related field
* Strong examples of B2B or thought leadership writing
* Confidence working directly with clients and senior stakeholders
* Excellent written communication and attention to detail
* Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively
* A relevant tertiary qualification in Marketing, Communications or Media is desirable
