THE COMPANY
We are currently recruiting fit, strong and reliable production operators for our agriculticultural manufacturing client who have a fantastic facility located in Truganina
This position is working in a peak production period and you will be required to work overtime on a daily basis, up to 10 hour shifts, to keep up with production requirements.
Hours during peak are 6am-4pm Mon-Fri and Saturdays or Sundays are required (and paid at a casual OT rate).
Non-peak is Mon-Fri 7am-3:30pm with early finish Friday and no weekend work.
DUTIES
Operation of variety of machines in a manufacturing environment
Assist with blending and coating of products
Work on the line feeding raw materials into the machines
Checking the quality and packaging finished products
Ability to read work order forms and adjust required quantities and products accordingly
Blending and mixing of raw materials according to work order forms
Packing, wrapping and storing pallets
Heavy lifting of material bags up to 25 kg on a regular basis
Work with a sense of urgency to achieve production goals and targets
QUALIFICATIONS / SELECTING CRITERIA
Have excellent written, verbal and mathematical skills
A desire to work hard and get the job done
Physically fit and able to lift up to 25 kg repetitively
Possess a great work ethic and able to work as part of a team
Must be able to pass a drug & alcohol check
