About the Role
Palmerston Mental Health Services is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join the DRMHT/AMHT team. This role focuses on mental health triage and acute mental health assessments, providing high-quality, recovery-oriented care to individuals experiencing mental illness. You will manage an allocated caseload, deliver timely assessments and interventions, and work closely with multidisciplinary teams and community stakeholders.
Requirements
* Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse (RN4.1 and above)
* Mental Health Triage experience
* Acute Mental Health Assessment skills
* Demonstrated experience providing:
o Comprehensive mental health assessments
o Clinical interventions
o Case management of an allocated caseload
* Ability to develop, implement, and evaluate individual care plans in collaboration with clients, carers, and the clinical team
* Strong ability to engage with internal and external stakeholders to ensure holistic, high-quality care
* Experience working within a recovery-based framework
Contract Details
Role: Registered Nurse - Mental Health (DRMHT / AMHT)
Start Date: ASAP
End Date: 8-12 week contract
Nursing Level: RN4.1+ (N4)
