We are currently seeking a Cleaner to work at the Newcastle Mater Hospital.
You'll work as part of our supportive cleaning team to ensure the cleanliness of the hospital whilst providing genuine service and care to the patients, staff and visitors within the hospital.
THE POSITION
General hospital cleaning duties as required such as public area and ward cleaning, collection of waste
Professional customer service
Receiving requests to assist with urgent cleans or additional tasks around the hospital
Use of cleaning machines
Washing of external surfaces and furniture
THE PERSON
An excellent eye for detail and well presented
You're able to work on your own but also within a team environment
Ability to stay calm under pressure and work in a fast-paced environment
Ability to prioritise tasks and apply safe work practices
Experience within a hospital or aged care cleaning environment as a team leader will be highly regarded; however, we are happy to provide extra training for applicants that are reliable and wish to learn
