We are currently partnering with a well-established commercial fit-out and refurbishment business to recruit a motivated and detail-oriented Accounts Assistant to join their Newcastle-based team.

The Role
Reporting to the Finance Manager, you will support the day-to-day financial operations of the business. This is a hands‐on, varied role suited to someone who enjoys working in a dynamic, project-driven environment.
Key Responsibilities
* Accounts payable and receivable processing
* Bank and account reconciliations
* Invoice management and data entry
* Assisting with payroll processing
* Supporting month-end reporting
* General administrative support within the finance team
About You
* Previous experience in an accounts or finance support role
* Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
* Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel
* Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities
* Excellent communication skills
