THE ROLE We’re on the lookout for an experienced Sydney Agency Sales Director to lead a high-performing sales team across our Sydney agency holding groups. Reporting to the Group Commercial Director (Sydney based), you’ll be responsible for coaching, inspiring, and developing your team to drive revenue growth across our live and on-demand audio assets. You’ll play a critical leadership role in delivering commercial success through strategic thinking, bold decision-making, and a deep understanding of the ever-evolving media landscape. Your ability to influence behaviour, empower your team, and shape commercial strategy will be key to success. What you will be doing and what skills you may have: Leadership - Lead and inspire the Sydney agency holding group team, fostering a high performance, collaborative culture that supports and delivers the commercial audio strategy Revenue Planning & Delivery - Oversee revenue planning, budget management and commercial performance across our All of Audio product suite. This includes live radio, on demand audio and Nova’s growing retail solutions. Sales Execution and Market Impact - Drive effective sales initiatives, campaigns and sales tools to enhance market presence and market engagement to build strong commercial outcomes. Client Relationship & Business Development Excellence - Deep skills in building long-term relationships with agencies, understanding client requirements, ability to build tailored solutions and negotiate larger advertiser agreements. People & Operations - Proven ability to Lead, develop, and inspire a high performing team of sales professionals to exceed revenue targets, fostering a culture of accountability in a fast-paced media environment. To be successful in this role you will have: Proven experience leading and motivating high-performing sales teams Strong commercial acumen and strategic mindset A track record of building relationships within the media, marketing or creative industry Deep understanding of the media and advertising ecosystem, including audio omni-channel opportunities Passion for delivering innovative client solutions and driving business growth Exceptional communication, negotiation, and project management skills A resilient, dynamic, and adaptable mindset, with a drive to succeed in a fast-paced, results-focused environment.
