 
        
        The roleYou will work as part of a multidisciplinary team responsible for administering the Pharmacy Business Ownership Act 2024 (Act).
As a newly established organisation, the Queensland Pharmacy Business Ownership Council (Council) offers a dynamic and fast paced environment that will require adaptability, responsiveness and a proactive mindset.
The Senior Executive Support Officer is responsible for providing a range of confidential executive and secretariat and administrative services to support the Chief Executive Officer (CEO), Council members and staff.
Responsibilities include: Provide high level confidential executive and secretariat support to the CEO and Council members in a complex, fast-paced and sensitive working environment.
Delivering high-quality, proactive administrative and operational support to the CEO, including calendar and correspondence management, expense processing and travel coordination.
Managing Council meeting processes end-to-end, including the preparation and circulation of papers, logistics, minute-taking, and follow-up of resolutions and action items, in alignment with governance requirements.
Liaising with internal and external stakeholders to provide necessary information and clarification of issues.
The successful person
To be successful in this position, you will need to have demonstrated experience in providing high level administrative and secretariat support to senior executives and/or a board, working with multiple priorities and tight deadlines.
You will have high level interpersonal and written communication skills and be able to liaise effectively, diplomatically and discretely with internal and external stakeholders, members of the public and staff.
You will have a proven ability to use initiative, make decisions and operate independently with minimal guidance and direction.
The ability to work in a complex and dynamic environment with the ability to undertake varied responsibilities with a positive and adaptable attitude will be required.
Whilst not essential, a relevant qualification would be well regarded.
