About the role
Reporting to a Senior Manager, you'll work across a broad range of clients and be responsible for delivering high-quality accounting, tax, and business advisory services. Your day-to-day duties will include:
* Preparing financial statements, income tax returns and business activity statements
* Liaising with the ATO and other regulatory bodies
* Communicating directly with clients and building long-term relationships
About you
To be successful in this role, you'll bring:
* Solid understanding of accounting principles and Australian tax law across Individuals, Trusts and Companies
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with confidence to liaise directly with clients
* Strong attention to detail and the ability to work autonomously with initiative
* Effective workflow and time-management skills
* Advanced competency in Microsoft Word and Excel
* Proficiency in Xero (advanced) and MYOB
* A strong work ethic, a team-first attitude, and high motivation
