Job Description As the Wellbeing and Injury Management Advisor you will be responsible for providing effective and timely injury prevention and management to injured team members in support of the proactive management of injuries across the organisation. This role will be based in NSW and manage the NSW claims portfolio. Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Effectively facilitate the timely and sustainable return to work of injured team members, ensuring lost time, claim durations and claim costs are minimized, as well as legislative compliance. Liaise with injured team members and leaders to provide immediate support and co-ordination of return-to-work strategies. This includes the provision of onsite support to teams, across JB Hi-Fi Group brands. Provision of practical training and coaching to leaders in support of improved knowledge and awareness of their Injury Management and Workers Compensation responsibilities and accountabilities. Oversee the organisational workers compensation functionality manager by our third-party provider to ensure effective administration of workers’ compensation claims processes, including accurate documentation, payment processes, reporting and adherence to regulatory obligations. Establish and maintain effective working relationships with all key stakeholders. Provide required data and statistics for monthly safety reporting and claims reviews. Support with coordination and engagement with regulatory bodies, including preparation for audits, certification processes, and ongoing compliance reporting. Work collaboratively with all stakeholders to ensure claims management strategies are implemented, the timely delivery of exceptional customer service and cost-effective outcomes. Work collaboratively with the Early Intervention Wellbeing and Injury Management Advisor to ensure Workers Compensation claims, documentation and records are managed in line with each state’s legislative requirements. Participate in ad hoc projects, as required. Ability to deliver face-to-face training (physical and mental health initiatives), as required. Attendance of medical appointments and consultations as required Onsite work assessments to assist to facilitate successful return to work
