This role is pivotal in growing revenue in automation for both mobile and fixed plant applications, with a strong focus on mining clients. The ideal candidate will leverage existing customer relationships where we are recognized as Hydraulic & Lubrication Specialists to drive new business opportunities. This position requires a qualified Electrical Engineer who is passionate about winning work and projects, collaborating with our sales, engineering, and service teams to deliver full turnkey projects, ongoing service work, and component supply opportunities.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and execute strategies to grow revenue in automation for mobile and fixed plant applications.
* Work closely with existing customers to capitalize on established relationships and identify new business opportunities.
* Focus primarily on mining clients to help improve their operational efficiency through innovative automation solutions.
* Additionally, engage with clients in defence, agriculture, power generation, and industrial manufacturing sectors.
* Collaborate with sales, engineering, and service team members to win full turnkey projects, ongoing service work, and component supply opportunities.
* Prepare and deliver technical presentations and proposals to prospective clients.
* Maintain a deep understanding of industry trends, competitive landscape, and emerging technologies in automation.
* Provide technical support and expertise to customers throughout the sales process.
* Achieve and exceed sales targets and KPIs.

* Self-motivated with a results-oriented mindset.
* Willingness to travel across Australia as required.
