Job Role Summary
The Officer – Workforce Training & Coordination plays a pivotal role in delivering and coordinating training programs for the Australian Red Cross Emergency Services workforce.
This position ensures that Emergency Services personnel are effectively trained and prepared to contribute to emergency preparedness, response, and recovery activities.
* The focus is on operational coordination of training events, supporting program delivery, and enhancing workforce capability through training and facilitation.
* A key requirement is sound technical knowledge and expertise in training, delivery, and supporting training operations.
In addition, you'll demonstrate experience delivering training or workshops in a structured program environment, coordinating events, sessions, or activities involving multiple participants and supporting volunteers or staff in emergency services, humanitarian, or community sectors.
Main Responsibilities
* Ability to work under general direction from senior employees within clear objectives and budget constraints.
* Ability to manage time, set priorities, plan and organize own work and that of lower classified staff and/or volunteers.
* Sound analytical skills and demonstrated ability to assess, evaluate, and solve problems generally found in policies and practices.
