Job Summary
This key leadership position is a Human Resources generalist role, with responsibility for Workplace Health & Safety, Return to Work, Industrial Relations, Recruitment, Remuneration, and Learning and Organisational Development. A central focus of the position is delivering on the People & Safety strategic workforce plan and embedding a people management framework.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead Workplace Health & Safety initiatives to ensure a safe working environment
* Develop and implement return-to-work strategies to support employees in their transition back to work
* Negotiate collective agreements and provide industrial relations advice to managers
* Manage recruitment processes to attract and select top talent
* Design and implement remuneration packages to motivate and retain employees
* Oversee learning and organisational development programs to build capabilities within the organisation
Requirements
* A bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a related field
* Proven experience in human resources generalist roles, preferably in a leadership capacity
* Strong knowledge of workplace health and safety laws and regulations
* Excellent negotiation and conflict resolution skills
* Ability to design and deliver training programs
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
* Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
