The Group Support Services Finance (GSSF) team plays a crucial role within Operations Finance, partnering closely with senior leadership from various functions including Financial Services, Property, Marketing, Strategy, Risk, Human Resources and Legal. As a key finance function, the GSSF team manages end-to-end finance operations for these businesses, fostering collaboration with other Business Unit and Group finance teams across the organisation. With an annual P&L spend of $2.5 billion, the team enjoys direct engagement and exposure to approximately 50% of the bank's senior leadership.
You will be reporting directly to the Senior Manager, FS & Risk Finance. The primary objective of this role is to provide finance support to a key Group Support Unit, catering to both business customers and internal finance teams.
In addition to serving as the primary finance contacts, the team collaborates with Group and BU Finance teams to coordinate common deliverables across GSSF, particularly for month and year-end activities.

The responsibilities of this role encompass:
* Month End: Deliver month-end processing, reconciliations, and half-year and full-year results for the Financial Services and Risk Management portfolio.
* Management Reporting: Successfully complete monthly submissions to Group Finance and report the monthly results to senior business stakeholders across the Financial Services and Risk Management portfolio.
* Financial Control: Maintain accuracy and attention to detail while continually improving and maintaining a robust financial control environment.
* Business Partnering: Work closely with the core team to track performance and milestones, applying financial and accounting acumen to assist with decision-making and engaging SMEs within Group Finance as required.
* Decision Support: Review the balance sheet and P&L, constructively challenging assumptions where necessary.
We're Looking for Individuals with
* CA/CPA Qualification or Equivalent.
* Tertiary Qualifications in Accounting, Finance, or a related business discipline.
* Experience in Financial Accounting and Management Accounting.
* Commercial Acumen and Strong Analytical Skills.
* High Motivation and Resilience Levels.
* Excellent Customer Focus and Continuous Improvement Mindset.
* Ability to Work Independently and Self-Motivate.
* Strong Communication, Influencing, and Relationship Building Skills.
* Proficiency in MS Excel.
