About the Role We’re on the lookout for a crew of hands-on workers and operators to join a high-performing regional infrastructure team based in Wagga Wagga. This is a dynamic role suited to experienced Labourers, MR/HR Drivers, Plant Operators, Carpenters, Road Workers, Site Supervisors, and Project Quality Reps. The work involves bridge maintenance, infrastructure projects and road upgrades across rural NSW, with a strong focus on safety, quality, and teamwork. You’ll be involved in varied site work ranging from equipment operation and manual labour to site supervision, quality assurance, and traffic management. Living-away-from-home allowances are provided, and you’ll be travelling with a stable crew across project sites. $40-$50/hour super (pay rate varies for different positions) 8.5 hours/day, 76 hours/fortnight, 9-day fortnight Leaving away from home might be required (accommodation allowances provided) Contract length: 3 -6 months, potential for extension depending on the project. Key Responsibilities Carry out civil labouring tasks including maintenance, carpentry, concreting, and formwork Operate plant and equipment safely and efficiently (rollers, excavators, trucks etc.) Drive MR/HR vehicles as required between depots and work zones Monitor worksite quality, ensure compliance with project specs Provide on-site support for junior crew and act as a go-to for safety and coordination Maintain WHS compliance and contribute actively to toolbox talks Assist with traffic control and site safety near active roadways Record daily activities and report issues or delays About You Construction White Card – essential Current C, MR or HR Licence Plant Operator Tickets, Workers On Foot, Tradesperson certificate, TC tickets – highly desirable Carpentry, construction, road work or bridge maintenance experience Strong awareness of worksite safety and quality standards Previous government or infrastructure project experience preferred Willingness to travel and work away from home Reliable, physically fit, and a team-first attitude Full Australian working rights Able to pass a police check (can start pending result – subject to clearance) Must have full Australian working rights – Citizen, PR, or valid long-term visa holders only A satisfactory police check is required (can commence before clearance, subject to termination if adverse findings arise) Please note: We are also delivering projects in regional NSW locations including the Riverina Region, Dubbo, Temora, Hunter Valley, Hay, Singleton, Narrandera, and West Wyalong.
