Overview
Our company is an Importer / Retailer of both heavy and light machinery, and we currently seek to appoint an Electrician to join our expanding Perth branch (Head Office). With widespread distribution across Australia to individuals and companies, our product range includes diesel generators, battery pack power stations, compressors, fuel tanks and other industrial machinery.
Responsibilities
Assembly, testing and repair of products.
Customisation of equipment to suit client specifications.
Experience on 12 Volt / 24 Volt as well
A relevant trade qualification or certificate is required
General electrical installation and repairs on industrial machinery and plant
Ability to work unsupervised and to demonstrate initiative
A team player willing to "help out" with a variety of different tasks
Excellent standards of quality control
Understanding of programming and uploading to generator controller would be an advantage but not essential.
About you / Qualifications
A-Grade Electrical License.
Current Western Australian full drivers' license.
High-level organizational skills and attention to detail.
Strong listening, fault-finding and problem-solving skills.
Self-motivated, driven and a self-starter.
Flexible and team player
You will be highly organized, reliable and physically fit and enjoy hands-on problem solving.
Sound mechanical / technical knowledge is essential to this position.
You will be joining a very friendly, successful business team where you will be required to work with minimal supervision therefore a mature, enthusiastic and hardworking attitude will be your biggest asset.
This position will be a full-time permanent position. Wages and benefits will be commensurate with experience.
