About the role
Orica is seeking a Global Payroll Analyst (1-year contract) to join our Melbourne office with a hybrid work arrangement. The role involves managing payroll across at least three countries, including Australia, LATAM, Canada, and the Philippines, with a focus on understanding respective legislations. The analyst will interpret payroll and enterprise agreements and demonstrate a thorough understanding of HR payroll processes, systems, and regulations.
Key responsibilities
Manage payroll processes across multiple countries, ensuring compliance with local legislation.
Interpret payroll and enterprise agreements accurately.
Collaborate with regional teams to address payroll requirements and promote global standardization.
Provide data insights and analytical support related to the Breakaway program.
Qualifications
Minimum 7 years of experience in payroll or related roles.
Experience with payroll legislation in at least three countries (Australia, LATAM, Canada, Philippines).
Experience interpreting payroll and enterprise agreements.
Strong knowledge of HR payroll processes, systems, and regulations.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
Ability to work independently and within a team.
