BUTCHER
We are currently looking for a butcher with experience in both wholesale and retail butchering, Experience in portion cutting is an advantage. This is a full time position located in Bassendean.
Your tasks will include but are not limited to:
* Bandsaw work
* Slicing and dicing of product – by hand and machine
* Boning
* Portion control slicing
* Making of mince and sausages
We expect all our employees to display a high level of cleanliness and presentation. We also expect a high level of professionalism in all aspects of your employment.
Job Criteria
* Able and willing to work in a cold environment
* Able and willing to perform repetitive tasks – especially saw work
* Ability to cleanly and efficiently butcher meat to given specification
* Fit and active – ability to lift and move cartons up to 27.5kg
* Reliable transport available
* Attention to detail
* Ability to understand and follow directions
* Strong work ethic
* Legal rights to work in Australia
Opportunity to work a 4 day week for the right person
