The Role
You will be a key guardian of financial integrity across Komatsu ANZ, New Caledonia and PNG — ensuring reporting is accurate, compliant and delivered to a high standard, every time.
This is a hands-on technical role with visibility and influence across the business.
Your responsibilities will include:
* Monthly consolidated reporting (fast, accurate, dependable).
* Annual statutory accounts and disclosures.
* External audit coordination.
* Budgeting, forecasting and 3-year CAPEX planning.
* FX revaluations and multi-currency management.
* Lease accounting (IFRS 16).
* Fixed asset governance and integrity.
* Oversight across SAP, ECCS, CaseWare, D365 and LeaseInfo.
About You
You'll be successful if you:
* Bring strong technical accounting expertise (Big 4 or mid-tier background highly regarded).
* Have experience in multi-entity, multi-currency environments.
* Are a confident Excel and SAP user.
* Deliver under tight deadlines (including a 2-3 day month-end close).
* Balance attention to detail with commercial awareness.
Qualifications:
* Accounting or Finance degree
* CA or CPA qualified (CA preferred)
