The Role
We are seeking a dynamic
Coordinator Wastewater Services
to lead our frontline wastewater team based at Ti Tree Bend. This is a unique opportunity for a strong leader who excels at building positive, high-performing teams, and may bring transferable skills from other industries or roles.
You will be responsible for planning and overseeing daily activities, providing technical support, supporting team members, and ensuring safe, efficient, and high-quality service delivery to our customers and community. Your leadership will be key to fostering a constructive, inclusive, and collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities
Inspire and cultivate a positive team culture aligned with organisational values.
Encourage excellence and empower employees to perform at their best.
Plan and coordinate daily jobs and maintenance for wastewater services.
Develop rosters, allocate tasks, and ensure resources are available to meet operational needs.
Provide leadership, guidance, and support to team members to ensure safe and effective work practices.
Monitor progress, report on performance, and resolve operational issues promptly.
Oversee small projects and contractor activities to ensure quality and safety standards are met.
Promote and maintain compliance with all workplace health and safety requirements.
Deliver treatment performance within the legislated standards.
What we're looking for
We are looking for a capable and safety-focused leader who can manage daily operations, grow and support their teams, and deliver reliable wastewater services to our community. Most importantly, you are exceptional at creating a positive culture, influencing others, and driving change.
You'll have:
Proven experience in a leadership role involving operational and people management
Transferable technical/trade knowledge and experience (water industry experience is valued but not essential).
Strong administrative, communication, and computer skills.
Demonstrated knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in an operational environment.
Current C Class driver's license and White Card (Work Safely in Construction Industry).
Trade or technical qualification (desirable).
Experience in utilities or similar industries (desirable).

The Details
This role will be based in Launceston and attracts a salary of $110,****** - $116,****** (inclusive of superannuation), negotiable dependent on experience.
