Personal Care Worker Opportunity
We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Personal Care Worker to join our team in Ballina. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality care and support to our residents.
The successful candidate will have the ability to form strong relationships with residents and their families, providing emotional support and promoting dignity and wellbeing. You will work collaboratively with our Registered Nurses and other healthcare professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes for our residents.
About the Role
* Provide personal care and support to residents, including assistance with daily living tasks and medication management
* Assist with maintaining a safe and clean environment for residents, staff and visitors
* Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to achieve positive resident outcomes
Requirements
* Certificate III or IV in Individual Support (Aged Care) - Essential
* Previous experience in aged care - Preferred
* Genuine empathy and commitment to resident dignity and wellbeing
* Strong communication skills and cultural sensitivity
* Ability to recognise and respond to changes in resident health
